Excellent ideas. This is an area the team have explored significantly particularly with mobile release, and with the recently released supertag view bringing this to desktop. More to come in future chapters

Ideas
- Taxonomy: A "network graph" of supertags, and how they connect via extensions and field instances
-
-
Team have ideas on conditional formatting and have it as area for future exploration, but no active work atm. Calendar date picker is an early experiment, chanages are based on amount of nodes. Very relevant for habits and tracking.

Nov 26, 2024 Posted Tue, Nov 26, 2024 12:54 AMThe Android version of the app hasn't been released yet. I'm excited that the app is being released overall and that there's an iOS beta available. However, I'm concerned that Android users aren't bei...Yep, team have discussed Android a lot. We have two dedicated Android developers working in the team currently, Android will follow closely.

Yes, great idea. Tana team have explored different iterations of this and have prototypes of different field displays. Beyond cmk-k hide all fields that is available now, updates are not in current chapter, but likely area of future advance.
-
Spaced repetition is not likely to be a native feature for Tana in short term, but existing functionality (such as commands and Tana AI) offers capacity to build similar workflows, an recurring date functionality also likely in future. Community workflows are powerful here.
-
Yes current functionality of adding a voice recording to Tana with cmd-shif-e from anywhere is useful. More work required to release a text version of the same feature but team have ideas for how to progress. Not in current chapter, or planned yet for release.
-
This might be explored in future, but it's not a current focus in current chapter.
-
There are some unique power/challenges of this in Tana relative to standard text editors (e.g. Do you count words in supertag fields etc), but better word count tools likely in future.
-
Great idea! Very useful for habits.

Recent release of v1 Tana Mobile makes this possible

This is now available in Tana Mobile

Well known and explored issue in community/team. Improved user friendly exports and a more powerful API will both come in future. Current export options of full JSON as well as markdown export of any node and children offer a lot of capacity for users to manually complete their own exports, but more to come.

Ideas
- Analyze our Data
Thanks Friedrich,
Formulas fields are a long requested and top voted feature. This is not in our current chapter, but likely implemented in future.
There are also workarounds, and community have experimented with timeblocking for example.

Ideas
- Colored highlights
A useful workaround is creating supertags with different colours (with your own description of each highlight colour). When you see some text you want to highlight, you can select and @ mention the text, and then apply the colour tag to it.

The benefit of this method is that you can then create specific searches and workflows for each colour highlights.

Thanks, nice idea, one for future. Tab to indent currently works when parent is collapsed, but we can be more mouse friendly here.

Ideas
- Recent nodes
Thanks Livia and Roy. Yes cmd-s or ctrl-s very powerful for seeing and switching between your most recent nodes

It is likely our membership range will expand, but there's no plan for regional pricing.
The main reason is that we have worked hard to offer Tana Free which is a very powerful and feature rich available for no cost.
Great, yes notifications are definitely part of the future, team have explored significantly already.
A current simple implementation is the the
remind mefunction via command line.More complete notifications covering uses cases like the ones you provide will come in future
