YES!!! Workflowy has a VERY smooth implentation of this. Try inserting an image in an outline over there. It’s instant, and very elegant. Hopefully the Tana team will figure it out very soon.

Also, it’s really valuable to see which search nodes have results within them, and which don’t. I have live searches setup in lots of supertags, like ”topic” for example. Do I have 0 or 22 fleeting notes about @Tana? It’s useful to know. If there are 0, then I won’t bother expanding it. The same for ANY topic/live search.

I would love to add stuff to fields, though. To prevent sync conflicts there could be a ”submit update of this field” button (or something similar) in the mobile app — that must be accepted in the laptop before the update suggestion takes place.

Great idea! What I would LOOOOVE to see is a snappy mindmap feature where we can add existing or new nodes as branches to map out a project, or to brainstorm of course. A dream would also be to have something like Flying Logic (https://flyinglogic.com/) with its awesome rearranging of nodes as you think through causes and effects.

And also, more easily see which fields are from which supertag if I need to change them. It’s otherwise comfusing when supertags have been extended a few levels ”down”.

Yes!!!

Yes to this!! And the more locally saved (with sync to the cloud for every node that has been updated since last time) the better, because speed is crucial. And also for the ability to work/think/make notes offline.

Yes yes yes!!!!! Extremely valuable.
I would love a quick and easy way to ”unfold” the inline node reference with the keyboard — no matter where the cursor is in the sentence — so that can be done more on the fly when writing. It’s tedious to go back (or forward) to the reference every time to add or look up stuff to it. (I apologize if this is already possible).
