Explain the problem as you see it
I will either forget some fields for references exist or have to be pulled out of context to check their value/interact with/change them. This especially applies to things like tasks, projects, goals, media reviews.
Why is this a problem for you?
I need certain field values to be available to see and interact with at a glance, not 1-2 clicks away.

That looks very nice and helpful
Ditto on this, it adds a lot of friction having to untag, edit then retag. Also editing fields in-situ would be a really cool implementation without needing to open up the node.
