When you decide to toggle Progress Bar off in a given node, it would be nice if Tana respected that preference permanently. Currently, when I add a new checkbox under the node, the Progress Bar appears again.

Another improvement I think can make sense is to move right aligned Related Content to bottom when we're using side panels.

I love the content being on the right because it doesn't get in the way of my thoughts, what I'm writing at the moment. But when I have a side panel open, my eyes are going back and forth between the panels. And in this context, the Related Content is sitting right in the way and clutters my thinking. So when I'm using side panels, I'd prefer Right-aligned content to move to bottom to keep it clear from where I'm actively working.

I'm not sure about this but it seems like the Related Content searches are even "more alive" than other searches, like if they update more frequently and are constantly sucking up CPU resources... is that a fact/issue?

This feature is awesome with so much potential once semantic search is a thing in Tana.

But unfortunately, it triggers many search nodes on zooming on a node, so performance suffers and my old PC crawls. I know you probably are always working towards making a snappier Tana, but also think in the short term, maybe there are simple things like allowing related content to show up collapsed by default (like mentioned by @江sir爱数码 above) or returning only the first results with a "load more" option...

Just as when you are about to input a new idea here, the website suggests pre-existing ideas that may be about the same thing, when you tag a new node in Tana, it should make me realize I already have an existing similar tagged node elsewhere in my graph.

    Loved the simplicity!
One idea: allow us to use the same mental flow to search for tagged content: start typing supertag name, select it from the list, press tab to search exclusively its "children" (nodes tagged with the supertag)

I understand Headings are always open by default because we should understand a heading's content as actually the heading's PARENT NODE content, right? The heading is only organizing the content. That is why (I think) you chose to always expand them, displaying their contents when you open the parent node.

Being consistent with this, shouldn't the References section of the PARENT NODE consider nodes under headings as if they were already mentioned in the PARENT NODE (and therefore exclude them from the References section)?

I'm with you recognizing this issue with Tana as-is.

I'm sure you thought of this, but what I usually do to leave the breadcrumb connecting the contents is to copy whatever I wrote within the referenced node and paste into the "context" node. I'm not settled on where the information should "live" vs where it should just "be a reference", but either way, at least I get a reference linking both nodes.

Can we have an option to see the image full screen? when images are smaller, like in side panel nodes for instance, and you want to see the details, a button that expands and overlays the image in the whole screen would be great to quickly see the image, maybe even zoom in a part of the image, then press esc to return without having to mess with panel layout.

Can we have a quick option to copy the image (transfer to clipboard)? In the zoomed node, the right click is being hijacked and we don't get a "copy image" among the options.

I also like your attention to images, they can be a powerful feature to make Tana beautiful.

I didn't get the philosophy behind the change, though. What use case is that aimed towards? This full-width, centered approach, really doesn't match my use cases. All images I add to a page (except banners) are there to be complemented by text (or to be complementary to text), so I don't want the image to be stretched out to fill the whole page and push most text out of view, while having to fill its lateral gaps with a blur, just wasting space. I would humbly ask you rethink this approach.

When images are not there to be complemented by text, I would say they are to be showcased together (like cards view, or walled images, etc).

It seems like the colour for the highlighting is fixed. It would be nice to be able to change highlight colours on the fly ... maybe in a future version.

    I would totally love that!

    Loved the new format options!

One ask: when double clicking a word to select it and open the toolbar, the space following the word is getting selected as well (and then formated when I chose to highlight, for instance). Can you make it so only the word I double click gets selected?
