I’d like a smoother, more native way to do recurring tasks.
It feels bad to push an extra button and always have the native checkbox open and lonely when doing recurring tasks.
Please let us trigger commands when a checkbox is checked 
. This would open up a lot of workflows!

Please allow for the ability to add images via URL! For me this would make using images 1000x easier.
Currently I either have to add the image manually or do a crazy workaround by sending the link the Make, downloading the image, uploading the file to Tana via the API, etc etc.
In apps like Notion and Coda I can just paste a link. That would be perfect. Perhaps under the URL field type having the option to always display a preview.

Only day, week and year are built in to Tana.
I also do monthly and quarterly reviews. I would add my own tags for this but they aren't easily integrated with the current date implementation.
Add built-in tags for #month and #quarter. Nest #week under #month, #month under #quarter and #quarter under #year.
Or even better, allow users to choose which they would like to use.
I will either forget some fields for references exist or have to be pulled out of context to check their value/interact with/change them. This especially applies to things like tasks, projects, goals, media reviews.
I need certain field values to be available to see and interact with at a glance, not 1-2 clicks away.

In Tana this could be set in the supertag configuration.

For research and writing I should be able to quickly see related nodes, not just by exact wording or linking, but by related topics and including nodes that I perhaps had forgotten or didn't realize were related.
Using AI Embeddings to surface related notes is now a priceless part of my workflow that I can currently only do in other apps. The amount of time savings is huge and the quality of my work has gone up considerably, including being able to make serendipitous connections that I never would have otherwise. I want to do this in Tana.
Embed and store embeddings for each node in a workspace and include a section at the bottom of each page, near the references section, to show the top 5-10 similar nodes.

Currently it requires too much manual work and data entry to manage areas like finances, fitness, or any subject that involves simple numbers and calculations. Even being able to do something like concatenate strings or calculate dates is not currently possible.
Most of my work involves numbers and calculations and it takes too much work to manage this information in Tana at this time.
Please add a formula field type or add a formula section to the current field types. Basic math, string manipulation and date calculations would be a great place to start.
