Better visibility of recording in progress (so you don't forget to turn it off)

Actions

Explain the problem as you see it

I use the meeting tag transcription option a lot. However, it's very easy to forget about it and then hours later (or even the next day) I realize it's been running and recording for a long time. This is very easy to forget about if you're working through a lot of tabs, have a lot of content, etc.

It would be nice if there was more of a global indicator that there is an active transcription so you don't have to be on the exact node location and see it to remember it's running.

Why is this a problem for you?

I'll leave a transcription running after a discussion or meeting is over and it will record a lot more content that is not relevant. I then have to manually remove all the unwanted content from the transcription. It also usually means the generated summary is wrong as well.

Suggest a solution

Global indicator that is always in view that let's me know an active transcription is running.

Future Integrations

Explain the problem as you see it

My company uses Jira. I love working out of Tana, not Jira. Having to work in Jira means I'm bouncing between both systems. Tana is far more flexible and allows me to do so much more. But I still have to work in Jira for all our work items. I would love an integration of some kind that allows me to sync or reference Jira work items with the ability to edit the work items with Tana.

Why is this a problem for you?

It means switching between apps all day and being for less efficient. I want to be able to stay in Tana as much as possible but still view and edit Jira work items.

Suggest a solution

Some type of limited integration. I wouldn't need a full sync. If there was a way to simply reference Jira work items that made a limited number of fields available and allowed me to edit the status.
