Support handwriting input in the mobile apps

Actions

Explain the problem as you see it

I frequently use both an iPad and an Android based e-ink tablet to write stuff by hand. I prefer to have this at hand in meetings especially if I'm doing 1-on-1 meetings where I feel that having the laptop is an obstacle to the free flow of ideas and conversation.

Why is this a problem for you?

Currently I have to use the handwriting conversion utilities native to the tablets and then copy the text into the Tana mobile app, and then continue on Tana desktop to make sure it's properly categorized, tagged and processed.
This is not too much of a hassle, especially since the native utilities have gotten real good, but a more straightforward solution could be nice.

Suggest a solution

Add another option to the Tana Capture screen allowing handwritten input in much the same way the voice input is done.
Tana would then process the note and apply the same sort of processing it does for audio.

Access commands for a node in the right-click mouse menu

Actions

Explain the problem as you see it

In certain situations, specifically in a calendar view, there is no easy access to a node's command buttons.

Why is this a problem for you?

When managing my daily calendar I go through all of the scheduled meetings and decline the ones that I'm not going to attend. In most cases these are meetings where my presence is optional so removing them from my calendar in Tana is enough, I don't need to sync back to the actual calendar app (I'm importing my Outlook meetings into Tana using a Power Automate flow).
In order to do this I have to open each meeting and then click on a custom command button that I've created that sets the Event status field to declined, which causes it to be filtered out from my daily calendar in my day node.

Suggest a solution

Have the defined commands for a node appear on the mouse right-click menu. This would allow me to quickly go through the meetings and decline those that I don't intend to attend.

Summary rows in tables

Actions

Explain the problem as you see it

When analizing a table of nodes, I miss the ability to have a summary row at the bottom (or maybe top) of the table that would allow me to quickly check basic statistics for each column/field

Why is this a problem for you?

I'm thinking about using Tana to store some information about my work and personal life. Some of that information will be viable for table views and will contain data that I would like to have some basic statistics about. These would include the basic count (all, unique, empty, non-empty), average (all, ignore empty), sum, and should take into consideration the filter that is applied to the table, i.e., if the table is filetered consider only the visible rows.

Suggest a solution

Add the option to include a summary row at the bottom or top of the table with a simple drop-down interface per column/field where we could select what kind of statistics we'd like to see for that specific column.

Separate fields from other node types when inhering from a supertag

Actions

Explain the problem as you see it

When inherinting fields and other template nodes from more than one supertag, they get mixed up in the children tag.
It would be nice if we had the option to keep all field nodes separate from other node types inherited from the supertags.

Why is this a problem for you?

I'm trying to build a graph structure that involves inherintg from multiple supertags that have both field definitions and other template content and it would make it easier to read and update the children supertags if fields were kept neatly in their own section.

Suggest a solution

A simple checkbox option to move all fields (from the supertag and all its parent supertags) to the beggining of the supertag template.
