Public Roadmap

Actions

Explain the problem as you see it

Having a public roadmap for Tana would give users clarity on upcoming features and milestones.

Why is this a problem for you?

The mix of Slack, Tana Ideas and Twitter makes it difficult for users to have a clear view on the roadmap of Tana. There are many requests for i. e. an offline mode but we do not know if this is a feature which the team plans to implement at any point in the future.

Suggest a solution

Having a public roadmap with features and milestones will add clarity for users, especially the ones which do not closely follow the discussions on Slack.

Different checkbox states

Actions

Explain the problem as you see it

For task management, many of my tasks are unchecked but have different states they are at. It is difficult to distinguish them easily from each other. I would like to make my nodes as informative as possible so I do not have to dive into properties etc.

Why is this a problem for you?

This adds friction to my workflow. Having tasks and other items presented in the easiest way possible enhances the feel of Tana.

Suggest a solution

Multiple types of checkboxes. The image is from the Logseq Database version.

Simple table

Actions

Explain the problem as you see it

I would like to add simple tables as node in my summary of research papers and as part of the outline of my own research. This only possible via a screenshot. Having the table as a node type would let me search for the content.

Why is this a problem for you?

It is tricky to work with numeric data in Tana and having an additional format to ingest it would enhance the experience.

Suggest a solution

Allow for simple markdown tables where we can add columns and rows and insert a caption.
