Really hope this gains some traction!! I thought this was how it was, but I just ran into a situation where it wasn't! I actually have no idea what controls it now.... Alphabet???

I would like to expand on this idea a little bit.

Currently, there are no sort options for Side Menu views. I'm not exactly sure what determines the order of the Side Menu options / nodes. It appears to be Created time, but I am not 100% sure.

It would be nice if these could be custom sorted by field values. For example, I have a "Projects" view that lists all of my projects in the "Backlog" status and displays them as a Side Menu.

Currently, there is no way for me to sort these items so that the high-priority items are at the top.

Custom sort by dragging and dropping would also be super, super useful. Would love to see this implemented!

@Matt M Hey Matt, I know this is an old post, but I have a related question. Is there a way to easily see all the posts I have upvoted this month so I can retrieve / redistribute my upvotes as necessary?

I ask because today when I have tried to upvote ideas, my vote is not being added. My assumption is that this is due to me being out of upvotes. However, after looking thru my Profile and Account Settings, I could not find a feature like this. If I overlooked it, I apologize!

I don't know how there isn't more support behind this. This seems like a no-brainer. Thanks for posting it though, hope that we will see this functionality soon!

Just came across this. Would love the have the functionality you describe. I don't really understand what the parent idea is describing but what you mention would be SO helpful.

I believe you can configure a node description creation using an AI prompt, but considering how straight forward the "Build title from fields" function is, and the fact that it doesn't require using AI tokens, I would much prefer this functionality.

I agree this would be super useful! I'm surprised there aren't more people requesting this. Let's hope this gets some visibility!
