I appreciate your answering. I actually like a spellchecker, but one that marks them as incorrect with no choices is braindead. It works correctly in the browser version. FWIW, I found that the ChatGPT Windows app was equally almost unusable, and stopped using it. I suppose that doesn't bode well for Windows. However, using an app has advantages and I'd hope companies using AI would be able to use AI to get the app to work well.

I'm curious how big the dev team is for Tana. I get the impression it must be small. I like the nodal structure, and it seems potentially powerful and something I'd like to use and could use effectively, but I feel stymied by the difficulty in doing so. Although no longer in SW dev, it's my background, and I have an upper limit for clunkiness, which would have been surpassed. I am friends with Steve Scott, an avid Tana promoter and user. I am not local with him or I suspect I'd have sat down with him and gotten much more comfortable quickly. My experience with ChatGPT is that out here in the boonies of East Coast and Rural EC Lake Placid to boot, everything AI is incredibly slow making the response time painful at times. I suspect we just don't have the user quantity to warrant enough servers to smooth things out. But, ouch.

I haven't given up, but I'm very frustrated.

PS it would also be helpful if I could reply to the email I received and it would get posted into this comment thread. As it is, I get a nondeliverable notification and had to go to the comment to reply via copy and paste. It just seems that easy things are hard, hard things are harder, and perhaps - I'm hoping - impossible things are at least possible.
