It seems Tana already has the ability to create global shortcuts (ctrl-shift-E for voice) so perhaps just allow users to assign a global shortcut to the quick add feature (Ctrl-E)?
This missing feature is keeping me from moving to Tana, as I use Akiflow and I don't have time to figure out how to navigate to the app whenever I want to capture a note or task.
