From a technically point of view this feature is amazing. but the deal breaker is that your agent ist actually joining the meeting and is visible for every participant. so the first time i used it with my clients of course they asked: who is that? after explaining they had many concerns that an ai they dont know collect their voice and transcripe and they dont know what happens with they data. so i had to remove the agend because. to be honest i would also talk about important business topic when there is a third party bot in it. so the feature itself is amazing but you can use it in real life, at least in your business.
We need a robust integration between the outcomes of Meeting Agent within the #meeting note and the Tana Publish:Page feature. I am not talking about "Team" side of things, I am just talking about sharing the Summary of what is Transcribed to third-parties. Having the output into a Field value does not help in that regard. Just try to combine it, and you see.
The Tana Publish:Page seems the Cinderella since it was launched... and it is a very valuable feature, enabling us to apply a Quality Control format procedure to any content we structure within Tana that is aimed for external sharing.
I love the new features in Tana Core so far, the first of which I started using extensively is the calendar integration and meeting agent. I do a lot of meetings and interviews in my work so I love the idea of integrating transcripts, meeting notes etc. But the current implementation does not work for me for a number of reasons:
Many thanks for an excellent product
I second this sentiment. I'd rather see it implemented as a virtual speaker/microphone in the OS. (similar to other tools such as Krisp.ai or Spellar.ai) Granted that the trade-off is that it won’t automatically get chat inputs but it may be worthwhile as most meetings are still mostly verbal and not chat
Tried to join a MS Teams meeting today and got message "Meeting url is not supported. We support Google Meet, MS Teams and Zoom." even though it was a MS Teams meeting. Here is the format of the meeting link which I guess Tana did not recognize:

Had a first with Meeting agent today and while the transcript was very good, even in German, I stumbled over an unexpected problem. It was a larger (100+) Zoom meeting where participants were distributed into several breakout rooms by the organizers. The Meeting agent was left behind in the main room and I could read along in the transcription how staff was asking "Tana" if they needed any assistance in choosing the right breakout room. I don't know if this issue could technically be solved, you would need an updated meeting link (do breakout rooms even have their own URL?) and feed it to Tana and your meeting supertag in some way once you enter a breakout room. Or did I miss something?
Absolutely. An agentless bot would be much better. I use Tactiq for this reason, but it doesn't tie into calendar items or notes well. But this type of implementation would be preferable.
+1 -- Sharing the summary (and action items)!!!!!!! I've tried and failed every single copy and export option available. With the exception of copy/pasting node text for each node, I can't get anything sharable.
+1 -- Explaining why there's a bot in the meeting has been awkward. Even people with low tech literacy are aware of personal data leaks and they have questions I can't definitively answer. I ended up saying that only the transcript is sent to OpenAI but frankly I'm not sure if that's correct. I'd like clearer messaging on Meeting Agent data privacy.
+1 -- Transcript navigation is tough. Maybe I'm not good enough at search nodes but a default transcript search would be nice.
All that aside: I am ecstatic! These tools are incredible and I feel lucky to be alive while a(nother) tech sea change unfolds.
Thanks Tana team!!!
Hi,
I love the functionality, but there are three significant problems for me:
