A quick add global shortcut from anywhere just like in Things 3 would be a game changer for me 
I honestly don't understand why you deliver a voice version before a text version of this using ⌘ + shift + E.
This very feature is truly something that I consider for picking my productivity tools, including Tana.
It's a nightmare to switch context just to jot down some ideas or whatever I want to save in Tana...
