Explain the problem as you see it
I'd like to have ability to navigate mouse-free through different day nodes.
Why is this a problem for you?
When trying to get "in the flow", navigation through the app should be second nature and having to let go from keyboard to reach the mouse disrupts that.
Suggest a solution
Add commands for "next day" and "previous day" in the command palette

I suggest Ctrl + Alt + Arrows for moving to previous day and next day. Ctrl + Alt + Down to open the date selector. Ctrl + Alt + Up to close it (cursor back to where it was). Ability to move with arrow keys in the date selector. Keep the Ctrl + Alt + Arrows to change months (left, right) and years (up, down)
