Hotkey for Inbox

Actions

Explain the problem as you see it

It is currently not possible to set a hotkey for the inbox as there is no command for it in the command line.

Why is this a problem for you?

I would like to use the inbox as the primary location for collecting things I don't know what to do with yet, because leaving them on day nodes allows them to slip through the cracks for me.

Suggest a solution

Simply create a command for "Open inbox" and then I will be able to create a hotkey for it.

Node descriptions viewable as hover component

Actions

Explain the problem as you see it

Node descriptions, especially when used in fields, decrease the mandatory info density on the screen with no workaround.

Why is this a problem for you?

I don't want the descriptions making every page longer, because I like having an info dense workspace.

Suggest a solution

Allow the option to show node descriptions when you hover over the node's icon. There is already info here, so there shouldn't be very much to change. Although obviously I don't know how Tana works under the hood that well.

Numbered lists

Actions

Explain the problem as you see it

The option to have numbered lists in Tana that automatically renumber when the order of nodes is changed would be tremendously useful.

Why is this a problem for you?

I frequently number my lists since I am making plans and steps. I reorder the steps a lot but I would like to still be able to have the numbers automatically correct when I change the order of nodes.

Suggest a solution

Maybe all subnodes of a node could be toggled as a numbered list.
