Highlight node where the cursor is located

Actions

Explain the problem as you see it

I try, whenever possible, to use the keyboard and shortcuts as I believe they speed up the operation. Sometimes it takes me a while to realize where the cursor is located or, in other words, which node is currently selected.

Why is this a problem for you?

I think this is a usability issue that can be improved. The problem is finding myself "lost" at times, trying to find where the cursor is.

Suggest a solution

The proposed solution is to highlight the currently selected node with a background color. I believe that the ideal case is that this selection (highlight) can be turned off, that is, it could be a "user option" (setting). An extra bonus would be that the background color and transparency can also be chosen/customized.

Open external link via keyboard

Actions

Explain the problem as you see it

Many users prefer extensive use of the keyboard, as they consider this mode of operation to be faster. Therefore, it would be interesting if an external link could be opened via keyboard shortcut, if a node where there is a url is selected.

Why is this a problem for you?

It is not a problem strictly speaking, but a suggestion regarding usability and user experience.

Suggest a solution

Creation of a command - with the possibility of associating a keyboard shortcut to it - that allows you to open, in a new tab, the external link (url) that is present on the node.

Hiding sidebar via Ctrl+K -> Hide sidebar should keep the cursor/focus at the current position

Actions

Explain the problem as you see it

It doesn't seem to make sense to me that, when closing the side bar using Ctrl+K, the cursor doesn't stay where it is. Currently the focus goes to the Open/Close sidebar button and, as far as I saw, I didn't find a way to return to the main panel using just the keyboard.

Why is this a problem for you?

The problem is related to friction. Use should be as fluid as possible.

Suggest a solution

Keep the cursor where it is before the close sidebar command is activated.
