Explain the problem as you see it
Nodes’ relationship with time is limited to “created date” system fields and whatever we can come up with using fields.
Why is this a problem for you?
In a more abstract sense, I’d say some kinds of nodes can “get in the way” when they’re shown at a time when they’re unneeded, or be absent at a time when they’re needed.
In practical terms, I’d like to have recurring tasks.
Suggest a solution
There should be a way to control whether certain nodes appear in your #day node based on date-related criteria.
Examples:
- Show me a reference to this node every Tuesday
- Clone this node every 7th day of the month
- Snooze this node for the next 3 days
- Show a reference to this node every Saturday until it is checked as Done (or a different, field-based conditional)
This would allow for recurring tasks, but could also have many other uses.
