Explain the problem as you see it
Currently, when you open a supertag node, the font size of the field text (metadata) is the same as the child node text.
Why is this a problem for you?
It's hard to visually distinguish the field/metadata text from the outline itself. Metadata should be smaller and less visible than the outline text, which is the thing the user is most concerned with when working in the outline view.
Suggest a solution
The field text font should be smaller and lighter in colour (gray perhaps).
