Explain the problem as you see it
Currently, unlinked mentions in Tana remain visible even when they're intentionally left unlinked. There's no way to dismiss or hide these mentions when you've deliberately chosen not to link them, causing visual clutter and potential distraction.
Why is this a problem for you?
I often have terms that appear as unlinked mentions that I intentionally don't want to link for specific reasons. These persistent unlinked mentions create unnecessary visual noise in my workspace. Each time I see them, I have to mentally re-process and ignore them, which interrupts my workflow and focus.
Suggest a solution
Add a "Hide" button next to the existing "Link" button in unlinked mentions. When clicked, the mention would be removed from the main unlinked mentions display. These hidden mentions could then be collected in a collapsible "Hidden Unlinked References" section below the regular unlinked mentions area, keeping the interface clean while still allowing users to review or restore hidden mentions if needed later.
