Turning a child node into a document

Explain the problem as you see it

While outlining, jotting down ideas, and even writing long freeform brain dumps into an outliner is great, having a document field would allow me to more comfortably write actual documents, which I now typically retreat to Google Docs to pull off.

Why is this a problem for you?

I would prefer to use Tana as a one-stop shop, but right now, the writing experience is frustrating when trying to go from the early draft phase to the later draft phase, when visualizing the text is simply part of the process.

Suggest a solution

Either a master supertag that transforms a child node to a document (then a live search would show me all of my documents, which I could then filter) or a field type that does the same. I worry about the field type because I wouldn't want to work in the kind of half-screen where the left hand side says the field title and then there's a bullet and the actual document field would be on the right. That would probably bug me.
