Explain the problem as you see it
Listing things that one has to do is only the first half of the job. Items need to be prioritised and have allocated times to get done. After a new item is added, all the other tasks have to be updated relative to the new one.
Why is this a problem for you?
I gather all my todos, and try to allocate time for each of them in my calendar. If I assign them allocated times, every time a new todo is added and has a higher priority than the existing ones, I have to update all calendar entries manually.
Suggest a solution
Tana could have an integration with calendars, where it can create calendar events allocated to nodes.
It would even be better if Tana could reorganise events according to changes I do in the list of nodes.
- I set timeframes in my calendar: 'early mornings' or 'high prio' or 'metrics' These timeframes are recurring in my calendar.
- I set the same tags for my nodes: 'early mornings' or 'high prio' or 'metrics'
- I set the time required for a node to be completed (this can be a custom field by me)
- Tana automatically allocates times in my calendar for the nodes according to their timeframes and time required for completion. The order of adding tasks can be set by another custom field or top-bottom list within a group
- I look at my calendar and I see what I have to be working on right now

While doing this perhaps the date widget could be made to close once the date and time has been chosen
