Manage Devices you have logged into Tana

Explain the problem as you see it

As someone who has had to upgrade his OPSec recently due to a recent incident, I tried to find where I can manage the devices I have logged into Tana to see if I could disconnect one of them. I have separate work and personal computers and have the Tana desktop app installed on both of them. However, if I wanted to log out of the desktop app on my work computer there is no where to manage that and I feel as if that is a security issue. Particularly if you had your device stolen or the like. This may be more relevant in the near future when rolling out the mobile apps as well because they are more easily lost/stolen/compromised

Why is this a problem for you?

I take OPSec very seriously and by not having a fail safe or something to limit access incase of a compromise, I feel as if I can not store important personal or private information on my Tana.

Suggest a solution

Create a way to "Manage my devices" similar to other apps where you can identify which device/app is logged in and log accounts out remotely from the current one you are on.

Yes good idea, likely native capacity in future, but it's not in our current chapter.. A few relevant alternatives currently:

If you are using Google to log in you can sign out via Google:

  1. Go to Manage your Google Account.
  2. Click the "Security" tab in the left sidebar.
  3. Scroll down to the "Your connections to third-party apps & services" section.
  4. Click "See all connections" and find Tana.
  5. Click "See details" on the "How Google helps you sign in to Tana" section.
  6. Click "Stop using Sign in with Google".
  7. Your Tana account and the data and info you shared with Tana will not be deleted. This will log you out on all devices.

If Apple, and specifically on iOS, whilst not the same request, you can add additional security of a unique passcode, TouchID or FaceID specifically for the app.
