Set search within command line to be available from anywhere, and set workspace home node to be the default option.

Explain the problem as you see it

The way it works now is that search within can be called on whichever node the cursor is on, and if you click on a blank space, you can't call up search within.

If I want to search under a certain node, I need to jump to that node to be able to search.

Why is this a problem for you?

Instead of finding the node you want to search for and then searching for it, you can bring up the search function from anywhere, which is a more complicated step.

Suggest a solution

  1. Set search within to be called globally, not just when the cursor is on a node.

  2. Set workspace home to be the default search object to choose from.

  3. Set any node to be searchable, similar to setting any node to be a move target.
