Adding onto this with some examples. I like the idea of icons, but the obfuscation of contextual content especially is rough
@Matt M Should be displayed on the right side of the node icon to distinguish between: Independent node, Node with child nodes inside or Reference node.
I would like to download the banner image.
When sharing the article on other platforms, I still want to continue using this exquisite banner image.
Icons for Command Nodes would look dope :)
Maybe I'm just a UI nerd, but I vastly prefer icons to emoji. Emoji add visual clutter to what is already a complicated interface. Flat icons are not only cleaner, but they also elevate the overall feel of the app. I'm all for silly and informal in the right contexts, but it doesn't feel to me that Tana should be that type of app.
A varied library to use alongside emoji would be fantastic. Even better would be to have a setting to default to either emoji or icons. I hate having to click that extra click in Notion to choose icons instead of emoji.
