Explain the problem as you see it
When i am writing notes, I want to link to a node (idea) that i have written before that is stored somewhere else.
For example, in this sentence, i want to link the word metrics.
I had a node somewhere that talks about OKRs and North Star metrics.
In order to link to the node, i have to first cmd + s, navigate to the node. cmd + c to copy the node. Go back to my original page to paste the node.
Highlight the node by trying to use the mouse to select the text. cmd + k and find the command for set alias to rename.
Why is this a problem for you?
There are too many steps involved to link a node, it should be easy and straightforward.
Suggest a solution
I want to be able to highlight the word, use a shortcut for hyperlink. Traditionally, cmd + k, then search for a node that can be linked to, and select enter.
