Explain the problem as you see it
Currently when you hit backspace, it backspaces/deletes to the previous nodes & fields.
It would be a less frustrating user experience for backspacing/deleting to stop at the node.
Why is this a problem for you?
In order to revert back, you need to undo the changes which causes a lot of time and frustration.
Suggest a solution
Stop backspace/deleting at the node.
Option or toggle setting to stop at node when backspacing or be continuous.
