Explain the problem as you see it
Not being able to see the data I want over multiple clients 5+>projects 10+>tasks 50+, with the least amount of friction as possible.
Why is this a problem for you?
When I have mountains of data spread across numerous categories assigned to multiple areas, its a problem when I cant get a Birds Eye view of everything grouped by area or project etc.
Suggest a solution
For example:
Right now tana is close to solving this. We can view a search node in list view and group by project for example. This is close. But I cant expand or collapse the group to focus on just one of them. I might want to compare all projects then collapse the ones I don't want to focus on for a moment. Then expand them a moment later. Again tana is already close with its Group option in list view.
However, It would be helpful if we can see all the data. This can be done by allowing users to view as group in table mode with the ability to expand and collapse the group directly in the table. This would allow the user to see everything at a Birds Eye perspective and zero in on details quickly and effortlessly. It would also reduced the vertical height of the table as well as allowing the user to focus.
