Explain the problem as you see it
Emoji are great for quickly conveying the content, status etc of a node, but some people (me) prefer a monochrome aesthetic.
Why is this a problem for you?
I dislike the aesthetic of standard emojis
Suggest a solution
The ability to have a custom icon pack or even a standard set of icons available for use would be great

I would also add that having control over the color of each monochromatic icon would add an extra dimension to customizability; for example, red for task-related icons, green for notes, etc.
