Explain the problem as you see it
When I paste a url from my browser I typically end up with something like: i) https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=35320638 or ii) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lXxJ8CEymgXh-jJD_QharecY9aHliI0UF0bH1WXSb5g or
Why is this a problem for you?
1) It takes time for me to replace the link with the title
2) If the title changes I have to update the link again
Suggest a solution
1) Load the title from a url on paste (something like: https://discuss.logseq.com/t/automatic-url-title-fetcher-plugin/8706)
2) If the title changes I have to update the link again (something like what Google Docs does which suggests you to update the title)
Ideally we can authenticate with Google Docs so that it also fetches titles of private docs.

I'm surprised this feature has such few votes. It's so basic and it's implemented in almost all note-taking apps. Also, when embedding YouTube videos it will be very nice to display the title of the video below the embed.
I agree - I think the URL handling in general needs a lot of work. It's very flaky and inconsistent in how Tana includes links when I paste them. I am waiting to use Tana to store links until this has improved.
+1-ing this. I'd take URL previews for more sites or better title handling just to avoid having to go back to the URL to then update the URL I sent to Tana (to not have to go to the URL again in the first place )
I found that it is possible to do this with external service and Tana commands. See example for Tweet URLs I found: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlM55z5AkRc&list=PLtQ1aQ_VfXvP9v7gVd5ECE0ijKRQ_hkzP&index=9
I wonder if anyone already set up a similar solution for any URL.
