To see how many nodes are retreived, i need to open a search node

Just showing number of retreived nodes, maybe just adding it as an option

I would love this as well.
I noticed that many people put live searches on their today page as they keep the inbox, by default, collapsed. Id like to know when I have something in one of these "inboxes" without having to click to see.
